The Beginning
Returning from WWII, Jimmie Saied chooses a new path. Saied Music Company opens for business at 111 E 3rd Street, Tulsa.

Saied Music Company opens its doors to the public with assorted accessories, one used drum-set and one brand new Martin Trumpet. There were three customers on his first day, his wife Helen, son Bob, and a congratulatory band director

Business is Booming in Downtown Tulsa

The store focused on servicing school music programs.

Expansion & Innovation
The “store of the future” opens at 3259 S Yale.

Leadership & Legacy
Jimmie Saied retires, hands the company to Bob Saied.
1987
Stars & Stripes Forever
Jimmie’s campaign for the recognition of the Stars and Stripes Forever as our National March, signed into law by Ronald Reagan in 1987.

Saied Music is consistently recognized by the music industry as one of the top 10 full-line dealers in the United States, and one of top 200 music retail stores in the country.
Saied Music Company has been an active member of and been represented on the Board of Directors’ of national industry organizations such as National Association of Music Merchants, National Association of School Music Dealers, and Alliance of Independent Music Merchants, for three generations.
