David has been teaching private piano since 1982 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Music from Southwest Baptist University, and a Master of Church Music from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Kansas City. He has been a full-time Minister of Music for churches in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and South Carolina since 1985. He is a member of the American Guild of Organists and the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers and has handbell arrangements published by LifeWay, Broadman Press, and Lorenz Music. David is a performing member of the Tulsa Accordion Band and enjoys arranging music for the band.
Currently David plays the piano, organ, accordion, cello and handbells. When he is not teaching David spend time with his wife, two married children and four grandchildren. His passion lies in helping students add their own style and flair to traditional and contemporary music.
