Andrew Michael Bruce is a musician and music instructor. He began playing guitar around the age of 8. He is mostly self-taught but he did take an occasional lesson over the years. Andrew was a member of the jazz band at East Central High School. After graduating, he went on to Tulsa Community College where he majored in music. While there, he studied music theory, piano, jazz guitar, and sang in the choir. Andrew obtained his associate’s degree in music and is continuing his musical studies post college.
Throughout his performance career he has performed at events at Coffee shops, restaurants, playing for church, weddings, receptions and other general events. Andrew played primarily classic rock, blues, hard rock, and metal. He studied classical guitar under Randy Wimer which inspired him to make classical music his main focus and awakened a musical passion within him. “Though my music tastes have changed, I am still very fond of those styles.”
Andrew has been teaching guitar, piano, ukelele, and music theory at all ages and levels for the past 7 years with Saied Music, as well as a few years prior to that.
