Years before Darren became a teacher professionally or even earned a music degree in college, he enjoyed sharing with people things they wanted to learn. Back then, maybe it was a math problem or video game, but he always found it exciting to see a friend able to do something new that they couldn’t before. There are many great things about teaching, but that’s always been a wonderful one.
Every student has different needs and goals, so Darren approaches every student differently to help them on their musical path. Whether it’s a young person just beginning their classical music study, or an adult who just wants to play chords to their favorite songs, Darren aims to help them achieve that.
Whether on guitar, piano, or ukulele, students with Darren will learn not just the music itself but about the chords, scales, rhythms and more that go together to make the music we love.
